Just a brief word to let you know i'm still in the land of the living. So far this season i have managed two trips to Sutton Bingham reservoir, and one visit to the syndicate water (R. Yarty.)
The S.B. visits resulted in 3 fish per visit, and the river trip 2 small "Brownies".
It was nice to get out fishing after a long spell of inactivity, but it was a bit of a struggle on the river due to being still rather weak and wobbly.
Now, the rain, wind and cold weather has returned to make things just that little bit more awkward when on the river.
Also, there has been some bank clearing done on the river recently, it's opened up a couple of nice pools and runs, (hopefully should now avoid trying to land the trees.)
Awaiting now for the weather to improve to be able to get out again.
