tried out the new? artificial quill wrap, makes a neat body.

Finally covered in Hard-as nails.

Well its almost a month now since i had my argument with the tree! still have the sling, but i take the arm out to exercise it in the mornings, no pain as such, but if i leave it out for too long it starts to pull at the shoulder. Bruising almost gone as well, just the odd yellow and black mark.
Hopefully will still be able to go on holiday at the end of the month without too much bother and pain, might even be able to get a days fishing in towards the end of the month ( Sept. that is )
Managed to start tying again, so it hasn't got too boring, although it did get nearly to the stage of climbing the walls ( well pacing the house and twiddling my thumbs! )

As the heading says, my fishing for some time to come has finished. The reason being, i had a disagreement with a tree whilst riding a quad bike! and i lost! suffering a broken collarbone and possibly cracked ribs, a case of the brain saying a good idea, and the body unable to come up to scratch! should have known better at my age i suppose.
No fishing, No fly tying, and boredom is creeping in, if not here already!
Hopefully i should be able to get a day or two in before the river season ends at the end of September for trout.
