Friday night (4TH oct) saw the start of a fly tying course for 8 anglers, four were up to intermediate level, the other four were beginners.
Given that the beginners had never tied a fly before, by their third fly they had produced a reasonable copy of a Black & Peacock Spider.
The intermediate class progressed from tying Klinkhammers, to the more advanced detached bodied May Fly, (see under "flies" on home page)
This is my first attempt at running a fly tying course, apparently, everyone enjoyed the evening, and have signed up for all of October, hopefully, into November as well.
