Well, we are now about to start into the second week of May, the water is still on the cold side, and not much by the way of fish rising. I did however get a few hours in at the beginning of the month, and managed to catch 10 "brownie's" in three visits, not very auspicious, but given the conditions on two of the visits better than nothing. The last visit just two days ago ( 7th ) accounting for 5 of those.
Now it seems that we are about to get more rain and high winds, so, it looks like the sunny days we have been enjoying are over for the time being, so much for a decent start to the season, lets hope the may fly are late like the seasons!
