I have decided to finish with coaching as of October, however, i shall still continue to post on here with tips and tweaks as i come across them. Thank you to all of you who have followed me on these pages over the years, due to health reasons i find it a little difficult to summon up the energy to get rigged up to go wading, so it looks like it will be "still water" trout fishing from now on.
Had a day at Amherst fishery on friday, (29th) C&R, used the detached bodied nymph shown in a earlier post (4 of) red one proved the fly of choice (for the fish) ended up with 10, mostly "Blues"
It's now called the "X fly" as it first came to prominence at Exe Valley trout fishery. it has also worked at Hawkridge, Dever and Amherst. the body material comes in 8 colours, do give this fly/nymph a try.
